CHRISTINE MUIR SHAHAN, M.S. Senior Consulting Associate
Christine Muir Shahan brings to Career Resources over 20 years of experience in corporate outplacement consulting and educational counseling and
guidance. In addition, she founded and managed a successful consulting practice specializing in executive search, career coaching and organization dynamics.
Recognized for her expertise in understanding and delivering innovative career development programs, Christine has established an outstanding record
of work with executives and professionals throughout the Mid-South and upper Midwest. She possesses a keen understanding and ability to find a fit between individual strengths and corporate cultures. Other areas of
expertise include vocational assessments, change management, and sexual harassment training. As a leader in her field, she has trained numerous consultants and counselors on topics ranging from professional ethics,
use of vocational testing, and delivery of services.
After 15 years in educational administration, teaching, and counseling at the secondary and college levels, Christine shifted her focus to the
psychological issues of the workplace. She was an original partner in Wiltzius Associates, Career Development Group in Wisconsin. She also consulted in the field of Employee Assistance Programs. After two years in
the Memphis office of Drake Beam Morin, she joined Right Management Consultants, where she became Vice President of Career Management Consulting for the Mid-South region.
Christine received a B.A. in History and Education from St. Olaf College in Minnesota and an M.S. in Counseling and Guidance from the
University of Wisconsin-Madison.
She has completed post graduate work at the University of Minnesota and George Washington University. She has received training in a variety of assessments and is designated as a Qualified User of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. She has also received special certifications in career management consulting and change management.
